about: The project has been proposed to look at the issue of Early School Leaving on a pan-European basis with a view to supporting “smart, sustainable and inclusive growth through the reduction in rates of early school-leaving” as the main aim.
The objectives of ESSE are to identify, assess and validate best practice models for prevention, intervention and compensation in relation to early school leaving. Following this the required CPD supports will be identified to integrate the selected best practice models into core service provision. An online observatory will also be created to share all findings and materials.
There will be a focus on recycling best practice methodologies and philosophies to learn from what has been tried and tested. Finally, the project will culminate in the first ESSE Annual Awards where best practice will be recognised.
acrosslimits role: We are collecting best practices from Malta and will be helping with the final conference to be held also locally.
