Vanessa dos Reis Ferreira

With over 14 years of experience in patient advocacy, engagement, and consulting, Vanessa dos Reis Ferreira specialises in integrating patient and citizens voices into research, drug and medical device development, and digital solutions. Her expertise lies in selecting the appropriate social sciences and humanities methods to effectively identify end-users’ needs and translate them into solutions. She has held key roles at Lysogene, Santhera Pharmaceuticals and Galderma International, and currently serves as Co-Founder and Head of end users involvement and engagement at Humanized Solutions, leading projects to enhance patient involvement in healthcare systems.

Holding a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and an MBA from IAE Paris-Sorbonne, she is also a professor and mentor at Universidad Europea de Madrid. Additionally, she contributes to multiple advisory boards and international initiatives, including HTAi, IRDiRC, and EURORDIS. As a multilingual expert, she navigates multicultural environments to foster collaboration.
