Valentina is a scientific researcher (PhD in Chemistry, University of Glasgow, 2023) who has completed multiple postdoctoral research fellowships, including at Trinity College Dublin. Her multidisciplinary research spans organic chemistry and nanomaterials, applied within chemical synthesis, chemical ecology, biomedical chemistry, and photophysics.

Beyond bench science, she brings strong expertise in project management, data analysis, leading complex transdisciplinary collaborations, and scientific graphic design.

She has secured competitive access to European synchrotron facilities through self-authored grants, alongside experience writing start-up reports and funding applications, and managing the FDA/EPA regulatory processes.

Valentina has presented at international conferences, published as first author and co-author in peer-reviewed journals, and has served as a peer reviewer for scientific publications.
