Dr. Tugce Schmitt is a healthcare transformation and digital health expert with over a decade of international experience across European health systems. Her expertise spans health data integration, precision medicine, AI, and healthcare innovation, with a particular focus on cancer care.

She combines strategic insight into European health policy and governance with extensive hands-on experience in leading large-scale EU-funded projects, building multi-stakeholder partnerships, and advancing the implementation of emerging technologies across healthcare systems. 

Tugce holds a PhD in value-based healthcare from Maastricht University, complemented by MSc degrees in public health and public policy. Her interdisciplinary expertise enables her to approach healthcare innovation from technological, organisational, and policy perspectives.
