Building Alliances for Innovation: Bring Your Idea, Find Your Alliance.

Finding the right partners can make all the difference when preparing an Erasmus+ proposal. Whether you already have a project idea, are looking to join an existing consortium, or are searching for organisations with complementary expertise, the right connections are often the starting point for a strong proposal.

That is why we are bringing together education, research, business and innovation stakeholders for Building Alliances for Innovation, a two-day online event hosted on Partner-Hub.eu on 29 and 30 September 2026.

The event is aimed at organisations interested in the Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation programme, offering an opportunity to explore project ideas, present proposals and meet potential collaborators from across Europe.

What to expect

The event will open on 29 September at 10:00 CEST with a short webinar introducing the Alliances for Innovation programme and the opportunities available under its three Lots. The session will also feature proposal pitches from participating applicants, giving organisations with project ideas the opportunity to present what they are looking for.

The webinar will be followed by 15-minute 1-to-1 meetings throughout both days. Participants will be able to browse profiles on Partner-Hub.eu, identify relevant organisations and arrange meetings directly through the platform.

Three Lots – A wide range of opportunities

The Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation bring together organisations focused on education, training and business to address skills gaps and strengthen cooperation between learning and the world of work. The programme is divided into three Lots, all of which will be covered during the event:

Lot 1: Alliances for Education and Enterprises

Connecting education and business to develop new approaches to learning, training and employment.

Lot 2: Alliances for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills

Bringing organisations within the same sector together to tackle specific skills needs and workforce challenges.

Lot 3: STEM Skills Foundries

Supporting new ways to build STEM skills and strengthen Europe’s capacity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Come with an idea, a consortium, or simply a desire to connect!

You do not need to have everything figured out before joining. You may already have a proposal in development and be looking for a specific type of partner. You may be interested in joining an existing consortium and bringing your expertise to the table. Or you may simply want to meet organisations working in your field and explore where a future collaboration could take you. Building Alliances for Innovation is an opportunity to have those conversations in one place and start building the relationships behind future Erasmus+ proposals.
