The ERA SHUTTLE project continues to advance its mission of fostering cross-sectoral collaboration and strengthening research and innovation (R&I) capacities within the WIDERA countries involved. The past months have been particularly productive, marked by significant developments and ongoing initiatives. Notably, the second call for secondments is currently open, alongside preparations for key training and networking activities.

Showcasing Pilot Secondments
The project has begun sharing insights from its pilot secondments, featuring experiences of early participants placed within the host organisations. These personal accounts highlight the practical impact of the initiative and reflect the project’s aim to encourage long-term talent mobility and knowledge exchange across sectors and countries.
Collaboration in Action: Information Session in Malta
In May, an information session was held at the University of Malta with the participation of CERIC-ERIC and other partners, both onsite and online. The event aimed to promote synergies and explore collaboration opportunities through the ERA SHUTTLE secondments. Representatives from each partner institution presented their objectives, shared interests, and mobility possibilities, offering participants a clear view of the project’s direction and opportunities for engagement.
Webinars and Further Engagement
In the coming months, ERA SHUTTLE will be launching a series of webinars for researchers and RMAs, further supporting the exchange of knowledge and professional development. Details will be announced through the project’s communication channels.
