
Mila Cutajar is AcrossLimits’ Senior Marketing Officer. Since 2021 she has been bringing her experience and creativity together to lead the company’s marketing and communications. Her work covers a wide range of responsibilities, from managing social media channels and content creation, to digital campaigns, graphic design, EU project dissemination and various other marketing-related challenges.
Educational Background and Career Journey
Mila studied Communications and English at the University of Malta, and began her career in 2013 diving straight into social media and copywriting. Over the years, she gained experience in diverse industries including working at a marketing agency, as well as retail brands, iGaming and hospitality companies, which gave her a broad skill set and the adaptability to thrive in different environments.
Her career has been shaped by being exposed to these variety of industries, allowing her to learn new skills on the job, and refine these skills across areas such as social media management, digital marketing, content marketing, content writing, graphic design, video editing and website administration. This variety keeps her work ever-changing and ensures she always has new creative challenges to tackle.
Role at AcrossLimits
Mila has played an important role in making sure that AcrossLimits’ many initiatives, particularly those tied to EU-funded projects, are presented in an engaging and accessible way. She combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, keeping communications fresh, relevant and aligned with the company’s innovative spirit.
Although the AcrossLimits team works remotely, spread across Europe, the company’s leadership encourages an environment built on transparency, proactivity, support and a good amount of lightheartedness. These are all qualities that make it a pleasure working with the team, and Mila being part of the AcrossLimits gang for almost 5 years is a testament to this.
Life Outside AcrossLimits
Beyond her professional world, Mila enjoys spending time with her husband, looking for any chance to travel, and of course spoiling her dog, who takes up 90% of her photo gallery. She also enjoys finding new trails to walk and caves to explore by kayak, cooking and baking, and true crime.
