Our very first public Partner-Hub.eu networking event, Horizon Match 2026, took place on 30 October 2025, and we couldn’t be happier with how it went! The day was filled with energy, hints of collaboration, and a shared enthusiasm for innovation and partnership across Europe.
The event began with a short welcome webinar, attended by 58 participants. Our Managing Director, Angele Giuliano, opened the session with a warm introduction to AcrossLimits, followed by our Head of Partnerships, Senfer Usman, who presented Partner-Hub.eu and shared an overview of the sessions ahead. Participants also got an insider’s look at three Horizon Europe calls that we’re particularly excited about moving forward with, and were encouraged to bring their own ideas and explore collaboration opportunities.
After the introduction, the group moved on to the 1-to-1 online meetings, which were the heart of the event. The networking session saw a flurry of activity on the platform, with 260 meetings accepted or declined on the platform. Out of these, 87 meetings were successfully held throughout the afternoon, sparking many new connections, meaningful conversations and promising discussions for future initiatives.
In total, participants from more than 30 countries joined us, representing a wide array of sectors and perspectives. We saw particularly strong participation from Malta, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, and Latvia, alongside representatives from across Europe and beyond. The professional backgrounds of attendees reflected the multidisciplinary reach of Partner-Hub.eu, bringing together experts from across sectors and fields such as education (18), consultancy (16), innovation (13), business (7), IT/software (6), and many others including research, blue economy, entrepreneurship and social inclusion.
It was wonderful to see so much engagement and enthusiasm from everyone involved. The level of interaction and openness to new ideas throughout the day embodied the very essence of what Partner-Hub.eu was designed to achieve: helping people across Europe connect, share their expertise, and turn great ideas into long-lasting partnerships.
Following the event, participants were invited to continue building on their new connections through Partner-Hub.eu. The event page and participant list remain accessible on the platform, allowing attendees to continue browsing profiles and reach out to others through the chat function to stay in touch and explore further synergies beyond the event itself.
